I created this pendant using an Oyster Shell I found on the banks of Perth's Swan River, and some freshwater Pearls. It's a beautiful peace with the gold and pinks of the pearls pulling those colours from the shell. Would suit anyone who loved pearls, the sea, nature  or shells.

The pendant is 66mm long x 65mm at its widest point. It hangs on  brown, waxed hemp cord so the length is ajustable.

The shell is edged with copper to support it and has a shinty resin layer to help stregthen it, but also to give it the wet look it had when I first saw it.

Pearls symbolizes faith, charity, and innocence. It promotes personal integrity and aids in sharpening focus and attention. The Oyster is a symbol of prosperity, reincarnation, protection, fertility, and femininity. It embodies abundance and the cyclical nature of life, while also representing the nurturing and protective qualities of the feminine.

I use recycled copper for all my pieces. Wearing copper has been claimed to offer several health benefits including anti-inflammatory properties. Copper is sometimes used in traditional medicine for conditions like arthritis and joint pain. Some people wear copper bracelets or other jewellery to help reduce inflammation, promote circulation and to relieve joint and muscle pain.

Each piece in my collection is handmade in Australia and is original and unique. Head to the About Section and Crystal and Copper Care to see how to care for and keep your crystal jewellery energised. You can read more about how I make and energise my beautiful, unique, copper and crystal pieces on the About Savage Boho Studio page.
