About the Artist

Hi, I’m Donna Joy Usher — artisan, healer, and founder of Savage Boho Studio.

After nearly three decades as a dentist, I followed a deeper calling into creativity, soul work, and energy healing. That journey led me to train in multiple healing modalities — including Shamanic practice, which now weaves its wisdom into everything I create.

At Savage Boho Studio, I handcraft intentional jewellery and spiritual tools using the ancient art of electroforming, uniting raw copper with powerful natural crystals. Many of the feathers and organic elements I use are foraged on river walks with my two little Schnauzers, Chloe and Ebony, who keep me grounded in joy and presence.

What began as a creative outlet has become a sacred ritual.
I let each crystal guide me — some become talismans, others become bold rings or ceremonial pieces. I simply listen.

Every piece I create is more than jewellery — it’s a story, a frequency, a tiny altar you can wear.

As a certified Shamanic Practitioner, I infuse my work with energetic intention and deep respect for the natural world. My creations often carry totemic elements and symbols drawn from nature, allowing you to connect with the unseen and the sacred.

More Than a Studio

Outside the studio, I’m also the author of eleven fiction books, including The Seven Steps to Closure, The Chanel Series, Agents of A.P.E and The War Faery Trilogy — all available on Amazon.

I also host the Living Through Heart Podcast, where I share raw reflections, healing insights, and the messy, magical journey of living a heart-led life.
