Green Agate Scarab Pendant
Green Agate Scarab Pendant
In Egyptian Mythology the Scarab Beetle is believed to be sacred and a symbol of rebirth, resurrection, transformation, and growth. People wore scarab amulets for good luck and protection.
Khepri, an Egyptian God, is depicted with the face of a scarab.. He symbolized the rising and movement of the morning sun, earning him the title of the Sun God. Khepri also embodied the concept of life's renewal.
This pendant teams the magic of the Scarab with the beauty of this piece of green Agate. When you hold this crystal up so the light shones through it you can see admite the different layers of the stone.
The pendant is 95mm long and 40mm at its widest point. It hangs on waxed hemp cord so it is adjustable.
Agate is believed to balance the energies in one's body and environment, promoting a sense of equilibrium and well-being, and it is often considered a protective stone. It is believed to ward off negative energies, provide a shield against psychic attacks, and offer general protection for the wearer or their space.
I use recycled copper for all my pieces. Wearing copper has been claimed to offer several health benefits including anti-inflammatory properties. Copper is sometimes used in traditional medicine for conditions like arthritis and joint pain. Some people wear copper bracelets or other jewellery to help reduce inflammation, promote circulation and to relieve joint and muscle pain.
Each piece in my collection is handmade in Australia and is original and unique.
